Madonna might be the Queen of Pop, but she is still just a normal human like the rest of us. While she can rule the stage, Madonna was photographed taking a face plant while skiing in Switzerland with her 25-year-old boyfriend Brahim Zaibat.
According to a Jan. 3 Inquisitr report, the singer suffered a "nasty spill" on the ski slopes during a European vacation. After a successful "MDNA" tour, the 54-year-old mother of two needed some rest and relaxation. However, for Madonna, a face plant was not on the itinerary.
The Switzerland trip was a break for Madonna, who ended her MDNA tour on Dec. 22 in Argentina. Billboard listed MDNA as the highest-grossing tour of 2012, bringing in more than $228 million and all 72 shows were sold out. More than 1.6 million fans flocked to see the Material Girl.
Now, Madonna's face plant in Gstaad, Switzlernad during her New Year's getaway allows the Queen of Pop- most noted for her conflation of biblical imagery, human failings, and fame- to seem as normal as anyone else.
