Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Württemberg, Germany March 14, 1879. Six weeks later, the family moved to Monaco of Bavaria, where he then began his studies at the Luitpold High School. Later, he moved to Italy and Albert continued his education at Aarau, Switzerland, in 1896, he entered the Federal Polytechnic in Zurich to be trained as a teacher of physics and mathematics. In 1901, he graduated, he received Swiss citizenship and, as he could not find a teacher, he accepted a position as technical assistant in the Swiss Patent Office. In 1905, he graduated in medicine.
While the Patent Office and in his spare time, he created most of his miracles, and in 1908 was appointed assistant professor in Bern. In 1909 he became Professor Extraordinary at Zurich, in 1911 Professor of Theoretical Physics at Prague, returning to Zurich in the following year to take place. In 1914, he was appointed director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Physics and professor at the University of Berlin. E 'became a German citizen in 1914 and remained in Berlin until 1933 when he renounced his citizenship for political reasons and emigrated to the United States to take the position of Professor of Theoretical Physics at Princeton *. E 'became a U.S. citizen in 1940 and retired from his post in 1945.
After World War II, Einstein was a leading figure in the movement for a world government, he was offered the presidency of Israel, which he declined, and he collaborated with Dr. Chaim Weizmann in establishment of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Einstein always appeared to have a clear idea of the problems of physics and the determination to solve them. Strategy and was able to visualize the main stages on the way to your goal. He considers his most important achievements mere stepping stones to the next step.
At the beginning of his scientific work, Einstein realized the shortcomings of Newtonian mechanics and his theory of relativity, followed by an attempt to reconcile the laws of mechanics with the laws of the electromagnetic field. He discussed the classical problems of statistical mechanics and problems in which they were merged with quantum theory that: it has led to an explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules. He studied the thermal properties of light with low radiation density and his observations laid the foundation of the photon theory of light.
In his early days in Berlin, Einstein postulated that the correct interpretation of the theory of relativity must also provide the theory of gravitation and in 1916 he published his work on the theory of general relativity. During this time he also contributed to the problems of the theory of radiation and statistical mechanics.
In 1920, Einstein began to build a unified field theory, but he continued to work on the probabilistic interpretation of quantum theory, and persisted in this work in America. He contributed to statistical mechanics to the quantum theory of a monatomic gas and he has also done important work in connection with atomic transition probabilities and relativistic cosmology.
After his retirement, he continued to work for the unification of the basic concepts of physics, taking the opposite, geometrization, the majority of physicists.
Einstein survey, of course, well said, and his most important work in the theory of relativity (1905), Relativity (English translations, 1920 and 1950), the theory of general relativity (1916), Studies the theory of Brownian motion (1926) and the evolution of physics (1938). Among his non-scientific works on Zionism (1930), Why War? (1933), My Philosophy (1934) and my later years (1950), perhaps the most important.
Albert Einstein received honorary doctorate of science, medicine and philosophy from many European and American universities. In 1920, he lectured in Europe, America and the Far East, and was awarded a fellowship or membership of scientific academies around the world. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Copley Medal of the Royal Society in 1925 and the Medal of the Franklin Institute Franklin in 1935.
Gifts Einstein inevitably leads to his house lot in intellectual solitude and relaxation, music played an important role in his life. He married Mileva Maric in 1903 and had a daughter and two son, and their marriage was dissolved in 1919 and the same year he married his cousin, Elsa Lowenthal, who died in 1936. He died April 18, 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey.

E 'also has a brilliant leaf stage, taking 87 catches in test matches.Greig could bowl full of life, a half. Inch or sometimes used quickish is back with its size and rebound the latest fashions and take 13 wickets to win a test match in the CaribbeanBut Greig and controversy are never far from each other and on the same tour of the West Indies in 1974, he ran while drummer Alvin Kallicharran returned to the pavilion after the last day of the world has already begun.Kallicharran was not technically the judge has not indicated that the game was officially over, but after the public has invaded the pitch and threatened to batter the riot was recalled.Ashes tour in Australia in the same year, Greig time, it seemed to play the Australians themselves, like Dennis Lillie and Jeff Thomson loaded unfortunate drummers England with his pace and bounce of the threat. He was promoted to captain in the following year, after England lost the first Ashes test at home and immediately attach their aggressiveness and determination of a team that carried out the following three tests against the one of the best teams in history. However, in 1976, Greig attracts unwanted future disputes before the series against the West Indies, when he said he intends to "drag" of tourists. The use of the word white South Africa in the period of rising racial tensions angry West Indian fast bowlers, which greatly increased the speed when Greig came to the crease on his way to a 3-0 win in the series.Greig greatest impact on the game came after he joined at the end of 1977 with an Australian entrepreneur Kerry Packer Cricket World Series to adjust flight (IIC) competition.Concept Packer media mogul, to ensure the rights to broadcast Cricket Australia Channel Nine, was the order of the universe of the game, limited overs games played at night innovative and become professional cricketers completed.Signature Greig gave credit to the CSM and played a key role in the recruitment of players unhappy with the issue of competition, which lasted only two years, but it has certainly changed the face of the game."He influenced all the guys from abroad, no doubt, and the Caribbean to join World Series Cricket, and it was great for cricket, what he did," said the former Australian bat Doug Walters played in the competition CSM, Sky News."Greig has been one of the main competitors of cricket ... there was someone who really took the fight to Australia, but took the fight at all."Win, lose or draw was the first in the locker room with a couple of beers in hand."CSM, because the assumptions Greig contrast with the introduction of conservative cricket and was stripped of his captaincy of England in 1977. His international career ended this year after the adoption of the joint contribution fully agree with Mike Brearley success ashes home in England.A longtime resident of Down Under, Greig later became a cricket commentator on Channel Nine, after promising a "job for life" Packer.Fight, and sometimes abrasive voice Greig hats white arms and signature appears on Australian television screens for more than three decades, but his fight against cancer prevented him from taking his place behind the microphone for the 2012/13 season ."This is a great loss to the world of cricket. For me personally, I am ruined," said the former Australian captain Bill Lawry, who has spent decades in the field next to Nine Commentaries Greig."World cricket has lost one of the greatest ambassadors.Expression cast Greig, who has gone from bad to respected cricket commentator, in his new home."RIP Tony Greig! Left a big brand in the world of cricket.
